Solution IB Written Exam Answer Key, Cutoff

Intelligence bureau (IB) written test over now. Question asked in the exam was easy to solve and cutoff would go higher this time.

Question paper of second english section was damn easy. There was an essay of about 400 words. In the first objective section there were few irrelevant question which should not be asked in exam.. ...Like in 838 AD which was the epic written etc.

There was no negative marking in exam and all such candidates who will qualify for written test , only there copy for essay writing will be checked and final score will be calculated on First+second sitting marks.

Question were asked in :

1. General Awareness (GS) 2. Test of Reasoning 3. English Language 4. Quantitative Aptitude Descriptive Paper

It is expected that cutoff would go to 70% of 100 question asked in the exam.

IIT JCOP Counselling 2011, Details

IIT JEE counseling started. This time it's turn of IIT Kanpur (IITK) which will conduct the JEE Counselling on behalf of all other IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, Patna etc).

Counselling will be done through Online Portal Known as JCOP. There are various procedure to follow which is defined below :

ONLINE REGISTRATION

Steps to follow for Online Registration of JEE Counselling :

1. The candidate needs to register at the JEE Counselling Online Portal (JCOP) http://www.jee.iitk.ac.in/JCOP using the “Register Here” link and filling the required details as given in the JEE-2011 admit card along with a password.

2. At the completion of this procedure the website shall automatically create a User-ID. The User- ID and Password should be noted down carefully, kept confidential and used for the remaining steps. Detailed instructions for this step are provided in the “Registration Procedure” document available for download in the “Help” tab in JCOP.

ONLINE CHOICE FILLING

1. After registration and payment of counselling fee, the candidate needs to login to the JCOP (http://www.jee.iitk.ac.in/JCOP) using the User-ID, password and the JEE-2011 registration number printed on the JEE-2011 admit card.

Bundelkhand University CPMT Result 2011

The results of combined pre-medical test (CPMT) 2011 were announced on Wednesday. This year competition was tough since total 61,000 candidates appeared in the exam, out of which 30,000 students are eying 1,600 medical and AYUSH seats in state-funded colleges.

The level of competition can be guessed from candidate-seat ratio of 1:18.

Harshit Agarwal has topped the test this year, he scores 169 out of 200 Marks.

1. The Online Test will be of 120 minutes duration with 100 questions to be answered. The question paper will be in English language.

2. The Online Test will be on computer. Candidates should have basic knowledge in usage of keyboard and mouse.

3. No separate (printed) question booklet/answer sheet will be issued. Candidates will be issued with working sheet for any manual calculations/working if required. The working sheets must be returned on completion of test.

Eligible candidates are required to apply 'ONLINE' only through our website www.iob.in and no other means/ mode of application willbe acceptable. Candidates are advised to follow the following sequence of steps while applying online.

1. Log on to our Bank’s website www.iob.in and click “Career” column (available at the top of the bank’s website), then the Careerpage will open. Fill the information and submit the form.

2. Remit the application fee/postages as applicable to the candidate with the filled up Payment Receipt in any of Indian OverseasBank branches by means of cash only and collect candidate’s copy of Payment Receipt for the application fee paid. Pleaseensure that the following information has been correctly entered

(1) Branch Name & Code Number (2) Transaction ID (3) Date ofdeposit and amount5. After remitting the application fees/ postage, again log on to our Bank’s website www.iob.in and open the Career Page. Clickapply online. Then online application will open.

Fill up all the details required in the application and click “Submit” buttonavailable at the bottom of the online application and online application will be registered.

A Registration Number and Password willappear for your online registration immediately on the screen. This can be used only for taking printout of the online applicationregistered by the candidates for their records and candidates should not send the printout of the online application to theBank.

3. There is a provision to modify the submitted On Line Application. Candidates are requested to make use of this facility tocorrect their details in the On Line Application, if any. This modification facility will be available up to 27.03.2011

The payment of fees should be made between 04.03.2011 and 25.03.2011 (inclusive of both dates) and the last date forapplying online is 25.03.2011.

Civil Services Mains Results are Out

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) have announced the result of Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2010 and Roll Numbers of the candidates, who have qualified for Personality Test for appointment to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and other Central Services (Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’). Personality Test of qualified candidates will be held from March 22, 2011 in the Office of the Union Public Service Commission at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069.

The date and time of Personality Tests will be intimated to the qualified candidates individually and would also be displayed on Commission’s Website http://www.upsc.gov.in.

The candidates are advised to notify changes in their address, if any, to the Commission immediately through letter or Fax at Telephone numbers indicated above.
